Pearly Everlasting is a hardy, drought-tolerant perennial in the Aster family. It is named for its small, white, papery flowers with bright yellow centers, which bloom from mid-summer to early fall and retain their shape when dried. This plant thrives in a variety of habitats, including prairies, meadows, roadsides, and dry open woods.
